Kathryn’s Experience

When I asked Kathryn to write about her boudoir experience with us, she quickly responded with a “YES!”

When I read her responses, I felt so proud that THIS is the experience every client gets.

This is Kathryn’s story in her own words.

I won this shoot from her private boudoir page; however, I have been wanting to book with Kendri for years. Watching her photography business grow and mature has been amazing! Her photography and the testimonials I hear about her work and her personality are what really drew me in!

I was afraid that I would not be able to get out of my head about my body long enough to relax and take authentic photos.

She did a fantastic job with helping me pose in ways that might feel uncomfortable physically on the front end but look GORGEOUS once they come out. She was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and confident in all the different positions that I might not usually feel comfortable in.

There was a great selection of client closet items available. I chose to wear a body suit that I brought in because I really liked it, however, should I have needed something there were plenty of options. I did wear a pair of heels that Kendri had available in my size, and I really feel like it elevated some of the photos compared to if I would not have had that option.

The small previews during the session really helped boost my confidence and made me feel excited to see the rest, as well as to continue shooting. The second I saw the first preview I felt a million times more comfortable, and I literally said, “is that real?!” as she does an amazing job with lighting and posing so that you don’t even recognize yourself anymore, yet somehow, you’ve never felt more like yourself!

Honestly, the entire morning was so much fun. It felt like we were just hanging out, talking, and having fun taking photos while doing it! However, Kendri is extremely professional, and the space is very nice! I enjoyed getting to do my hair and makeup, dress up (or down, lol), and spending some time to focus on ME! This session couldn’t have come at a better time being right after finals and right before the holidays.

I would highly recommend a boudoir session to anyone considering it! It was an empowering and confidence-boosting experience. Kendri made me feel comfortable and guided me through every step, resulting in stunning photos that I will cherish forever. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate yourself and see your beauty in a new light.
