Chelsea inquired about a boudoir session in October of 2023.
After our initial phone consultation she decided to book her own session with us.
Chelsea chose our middle collection as the time, and was set up on an in house pre-session payment plan.
Her session was set for January of 2024. She had a huge change come up and was in the process of selling her first home around the time of her scheduled session. As you can imagine she was under a lot of stress at the time.
She reached out to cancel her session, and after emailing back and forth decided to reschedule it for later that year.
The day her session rolled around just so happened to be the morning after a crazy windstorm in the area.
She had no power and was just rushing through the morning trying to get things done.
That initial hour of hair and makeup was truly a moment to just relax for her.
Once hair and makeup was finished we choose some incredible outfits that made her feel amazing.
We then moved into the shooting portion of the day, About 15 minutes in, I captured an image that actually brought tears to her eyes. She couldn’t believe that was herself in that image.
This is one of those parts of my job that makes me feel so genuinely blessed to be a boudoir photographer, empowering every woman that walks through my doors.
After the photoshoot she came back for her same day image reveal appointment. Another one of my favorite parts is seeing clients reactions to their images pulled up on that big screen. There is truly nothing like it.
She ended up upgrading to our biggest collection at this time.
In Chelsea’s pre-session questionnaire she stated that her “why” for doing a boudoir session was “To help myself break through my modest barriers and walls built from insecurities and beliefs about my body. To help see my body in a beautiful way. “
I absolutely believe we accomplished her why.
This is the review she left for me after her session.
